Santa Clarita-Based Real Estate Executive Matt Skinner
A longtime resident of the greater Los Angeles area, Matt Skinner has been spearheading real estate investment and development operations at Santa Clarita’s Empire West Equities since 2012. Shortly after establishing Empire West, Matt Skinner began teaching other property investors as a public speaker.
Mr. Skinner has served as the administrative head of the Dealmaker Society since founding this Laguna Beach-based educational organization in 2014. In addition to leading property investment seminars, he is the author of two books, The Dealmaker Manifesto and How to Retire Early Investing in Apartment Buildings.
His latest enterprise is the Santa Clarita boutique private equity group Thrive Capital. He has owned and managed Thrive for the past three years. His most recent accomplishments with Thrive include selling a 43-unit multifamily residential complex in Phoenix, Arizona, for $7.2 million.
In his free time, Matt Skinner is an avid automobile enthusiast and racer who owns an Aston Martin. He stays physically fit by powerlifting and practicing both CrossFit and martial arts.
